Clinical Supervision
Who this is forWe offer individual clinical supervision and case consultation to intern students and individuals who are currently applying to become Registered Clinical Counsellors (RCC) or Canadian Certified Counsellors (CCC), supporting them in enhancing client outcomes, strengthening their intervention skills and engaging in case discussion.
This supervision is intended for individuals who primarily work with adult clients presenting with concerns such as stress, depression, anxiety, trauma (including PTSD and complex trauma), as well as experiences of abuse and violence.
CommitmentA minimum three-month commitment is required to support the development of rapport, alignment and sustained engagement. We seek to work with supervisees who are able to commit to at least a three-month supervision period.
About the SupervisorSho Sho O is the co-owner of Resting Tree, an Approved Clinical Supervisor (ACS) candidate, Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC), Canadian Certified Counsellor (CCC) and an EMDR Certified Therapist based in Vancouver. Sho has completed foundational clinical supervision training and is working toward obtaining the full designation of Approved Clinical Supervisor (ACS) with the BCACC.
Drawing from both professional training and lived experience, Sho brings a compassionate, trauma-informed lens to supervision.
ApproachHer approach to supervision is integrative and reflective, supporting students and clinicians in deepening their clinical skills, strengthening case conceptualization and working more effectively with trauma, depression, anxiety and complex presentations. Grounded in modalities such as EMDR, Internal Family Systems (IFS), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and somatic approaches, Sho aims to create a collaborative and supportive space where supervisees can grow with confidence and clarity.
